Ours is a collection of fine handmade furniture, natural fiber lighting, decorative and fashion accessories in natural colors and fibers from around the world. Each piece is an eco-friendly, handmade work of art made of natural wood, leaves, bark or grass. We use only sustainable or reclaimed materials.
With an anthropology background, our founder John has a keen interest in foreign people and cultures.
During extensive travels in Asia, he has developed relationships with the artisans who produce our handcrafted products. Located in remote and primitive regions, craftspeople have learned to work with the natural materials abundantly available to them to create beautiful and functional products for the home.
Ibolili and the craftspeople collaborate to create eco-friendly decorative accessories utilizing the natural materials and talents of the natives. Many of our designs are unique to the artisans while others are designed by Ibolili.
Our business has afforded us the opportunity to continue to travel and develop lifelong friendships with many families.
