As far back as she can remember, Vanessa has always had an interest in the arts and a zest for exploring her creativity. Her love for interior design first began as a young girl over tea with Barbie and Ken. Borrowing her mother’s beautiful accessories throughout the home, she would create masterpiece interiors for her perfectly decorated castles. Vanessa went on to The Art Institute of Atlanta, where she continued to exercise her talent for design. Now with over 14 years of experience in the design industry, Vanessa has grown to become a very accomplished freelance designer and has since brought her talents to Furniture Mart.

Designing feels like second nature for Vanessa. She prefers to jump right in with a hands-on approach. With experience in faux finishing, home draperies, accessorizing, space planning, staging homes, and enjoying the hustle and bustle of home consultations, Vanessa has all the skills needed to help you in your design endeavors.

Although she genuinely enjoys all parts of the design process, her favorite part is seeing the end product. Vanessa works hard to accommodate her clients, so there is nothing more satisfying than seeing the smiles on their faces when a project is complete.
