Background:
Shirley Cook began working in the furniture industry more than 40 years ago, and has been with Furniture Mart for 10 years. Shirley has an established list of repeat clients who have come to her with multiple homes over the years, but her main goal – whether she’s with an old client or new – is always to make sure that the client is comfortable and happy with their selections. “I never try to force my personal style upon them.” Shirley has many years of experience finding what you may be looking for. Shirley was with Swindal-Powell Wholesale Furniture for 26 years and Irongate Furniture for 6 years before coming to Furniture Mart. She enjoys sports and spending time with her granddaughters.

When asked about her personal mission Shirley explained, “I will show you a price point that fits your pocketbook!”

Role at Furniture Mart:
Shirley has been an interior designer at Furniture Mart for 10 years. She truly enjoys working in the huge design center at the store boasting over 25,000 fabrics from all different brands. When working with clients, Shirley can coordinate fabrics to fit with any style, and she also has access to over 200 catalogs to find just that style you are searching for. Shirley feels very blessed by her job and absolutely loves what she does.
